A Service Company
We, at Advisors Financial Group, Inc., have an extensive background and many years experience working as consultants and independent agents in the employee benefit arena. We are not employed by, or affiliated with any insurance company; therefore, we can better serve the interest of our clients. We see ourselves as partners with our clients, assisting them with the management of their employee benefit program in the most efficient and cost effective manner possible. As such, we count among our clients school districts, municipalities, and more than 85 corporations and businesses. In total, we are helping to provide quality health care and other employee benefits to more than 5,000 individuals.
History
In 1995, Mr. Wilder incorporated his practice under the name of Advisors Financial Group, Inc., and maintains an office on West Road in Trenton. Mr. Ronald J. Wilder has been a licensed insurance agent by the State of Michigan since 1968. He maintains resident agent status for life, accident and health, variable contracts, as well as, property and casualty insurance. Mr. Wilder is also licensed by the State of Michigan as a Licensed Insurance Counselor, (LIC). This separate license is required by the State of Michigan to legally compare insurance contracts and charge a consultation fee.
Mr. Wilder received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from the American College in 1973 and his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation from the College for Financial Planning in 1993. He is also a Registered Representative for Sigma Financial Corporation, member FINRA and SIPC, maintaining a Series 7 general securities license.

Mrs. Veronica Poremba, Vice President of the firm, has earned the designation of Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, Mrs. Poremba has completed the Financial Planner Program at Oakland University and is licensed by the State of Michigan as a resident life, accident and health insurance agent. Our clients have come to depend on her to recommend plan design and product choices that minimize costs while maintaining quality coverage for their employees.
To best serve her clients, Ms Poremba has become a member of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (ISCEBS). She will, as a certified professional, adhere to the nine specific principles of conduct pertaining to ethics, education, and integrity that are a requisite of the ISCEBS.
With more than 11 years of experience with Advisors' Financial Group Mrs. Poremba provides a full range of services to address the employee benefit needs of the firm's various public and private industry clients.

Mr. Wilder and Mrs. Poremba are skillfully assisted by Mrs. Marian Trumpler who joined Advisors Financial Group in October 2000. Not only does she help insure that change and enrollment matters are processed smoothly, our clients have found her to be a great asset in resolving claim, billing and administrative issues.
Mrs. Trumpler brings with her many years of experience in the health care administration area. In addition to strong computer skills, which every business, including ours is dependent upon, she brings with her a keen eye for detail and organization.
